Shipping policy
- All Bougie Gougie packages are shipped nationwide using UPS. Our Gougies are shipped in custom boxes with insulated liners and dry ice to keep the product frozen in transit! Both our shipping boxes and insulated liners are recyclable.
- Your delivery should arrive on your scheduled delivery date at the same time as your usual UPS drop-off. Ahead of major holidays, Bougie Gougies may have an order by the deadline date to receive the Gougies ahead of that holiday. We do NOT guarantee any specific time and UPS does not guarantee any specific time. Bougie Gougies is not responsible for delays on the part of UPS and cannot control delays due to weather, local carrier mis-scans, natural disasters, mechanical error, strikes, terrorism safety control, or inaccurate shipping information (although we wish we could).
- Bougie Gougies does NOT require a signature for delivery. Please note that the decision to leave a package at an address is at the sole discretion of the individual delivery person and is therefore outside of our control.
- If your package is delayed, damaged, or lost due to shipping carrier errors outside of our control, Bougie Gougies will not guarantee a reship or refund.
- Bougie Gougies shipments are shipped out weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to arrive within 2-3 days. If you need the shipment for a specific occasion, make sure to have it arrive the week before your event to be safe. If you need to change your delivery date after ordering, please contact hello@bougiegougies.com with your order number and correct delivery date and we can do this for you as long as your Gougies have not shipped. One of our customer service representatives will confirm when the change has been made.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address is correct and that the package can be received at the specified delivery address. We do not issue refunds for product that was delivered on time and left in the shipping box for an extended period of time after delivery. Although your Gougies may be a surprise, we recommend that you check with your recipient to ensure they will be available to accept a perishable package on the delivery date. This is especially important during the holidays.
- Bougie Gougies is not responsible for customers eating food that is out of temperature or that has been sitting out or not properly frozen. Our Gougies should arrive still frozen or defrosted but cool to the touch. Do not consume your Gougies if it does not arrive cool to the touch. Please contact us at hello@bougiegougies immediately.
- All packages are shipped via UPS therefore we cannot deliver to PO Boxes.
- During major holidays, we may add a surcharge for delivery on specific dates.
